ABOUT US           UAB “Tamro” is a member of international concern TAMRO operating in the Nordic countries, the Baltic States and Northwest Russia.         UAB “Tamro” is engaged in wholesaling of pharmaceuticals and healthcare products. UAB “Tamro” was established on July 16, 1993. On December 7, 1999 UAB “Tamro” took over the management of AB "Farmacija". On December 23, 2002 UAB “Tamro” acquired 100% of the shares in UAB “Litfarma ir partneriai”. On September 2003, the organisational merger between “Tamro” and “Litfarma” was accomplished.   Due to consistent development of its activities UAB "Tamro" became one of the leading companies in the Lithuanian market.Due to 2008 year, organization achieved 364,6 mln. Lt., net sales. At present the number of employees at the company is about six hundred. It is fairly difficult to stand one’s ground in a fast-moving market. Efforts of the employees, competence of the leadership as well as employment of up-to-date information technologies in daily work capacitate the achievement of maximum efficiency in the company’s business.         In 2003, UAB “Tamro“ made firsts steps into retail of pharmaceuticals by establishing the chain of own pharmacies, called “Seimos vaistine“. In 2004, UAB “Tamro“ enhanced a position in retail market purchased the pharmacy chain UAB “Farmacijos projektai“. This group consists of 46 pharmacies. The pharmacy chain “Vogne“ was purchased with 13 farmacies in Klaipeda region, in 2005. The same year joint stock company “Ramuciu vaistine“ was merged to “Seimos vaistine“. The farmacy chain “Herbariju vaistine“, JSC “Farma vaistine“ and JSC “Vysniu“ vaistine were purchased in 2008. Currently the group “Seimos vaistine“ consists of 138 pharmacies and the number of employees is more then four hundred. More about "Seimos vaistine" group...       In 1999 a new and modern Pharmaceutical Distribution Centre was opened in the city of Kaunas. New warehouses, bespoke departments, conference halls and offices cover 6000 m2. Pharmaceuticals and healthcare goods of about 7000 names are stored at the spacey warehouse equipped in accordance with the requirements of pharmaceuticals distribution.       The majority of Lithuanian pharmacies and medical institutions are regular customers of UAB “Tamro”. UAB “Tamro” has concluded direct supply agreements with its partners - over 200 manufacturers of pharmaceuticals. Co-operation between UAB “Tamro”, customers and partners is based on such properties as honesty, trust, respect and a consistent run for joint results.       The Pharmaceutical Distribution Centre is located at the crossing of the highways Vilnius – Klaipeda and VIA BALTICA, which is a strategic position in terms of geography capacitating expeditious supply of pharmaceuticals to any pharmacy and hospital throughout Lithuania by either 20 motor vehicles belonging to the company or other companies rendering transportation services.       UAB “Tamro” was the first pharmaceutical wholesaler in Lithuania that was awarded a Good Distribution Practices certificate.
